Can I use the Adobe PDF Library to convert different input formats to PDF?

Your application must be able to read and parse the text input format, including HTML, XML, RTF, or Microsoft Word. The Library does not provide this service. After your application has read the input file and determined the specifications for the PDF output document, such as font and font size, it will use the Library to express the content as PDF output.

For some alternate formats such as RTF, there are methods for embedding additional object information into PDF that will enable future conversion to output to formats like HTML or RTF, while preserving the document structure and basic style. The Adobe PDF Library can generate PDF output that can be converted to HTML or RTF, but it does not accept it as input.
