Datalogics APDFL v18.0.5PlusP2e - Now available for download!
This version introduces the following new features:
• SF47550 – Adds OptionalContentContext overloads to the BufferedImage-based Page.drawContents() methods in the Java interface, so a page can be rendered with specific layers shown or hidden.
This enables pages to be rendered with specific optional-content layers shown or hidden, providing greater control over the resulting image.
• SF47554 – Adds getLongValue() (Java) and the LongValue property (.NET) to read PDFInteger values above 2,147,483,647 (such as ByteRange offsets in files larger than 2 GB) without truncation.
This prevents truncation when accessing large values, such as ByteRange offsets in PDF files larger than 2 GB.
This version contains the following changes:
• libExpat has been updated to 2.8.2 to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• giflib has been updated to v6.1.3 to address the vulnerability CVE-2026-26740.
• Corrects an issue flattening XFA documents where content with fields specifying non-zero margins could be cropped when using Forms Extension.
• SharedLibs NuGet package version updated to 1.0.9.
• With this release, the NuGet package version has been increased to 18.64.0.
• With this release, the Maven package version has been increased to 18.64.0.
This version resolves the following bugs:
• SF45180 – Improves flattening of XFA documents where a Button field has no Caption but a Text Label overlaid on top of it.
• SF47401 – Corrects an issue where content could be clipped unexpectedly when flattening an XFA document with Forms Extension.
• SF47460 – Corrects an issue where some XFA documents, when flattened AsIfPrinted, showed content that was meant to be excluded.
• SF47461 – Corrects an issue where a heavily crowded Text Field shared across pages of an XFA document could be slightly clipped when flattened with Forms Extension.
• SF47486 – Improves flattening of XFA documents where a Button field has no Caption but a Text Label overlaid on top of it.
• SF47594 – Fixes an issue during PDF/A conversion that could lead to unembedded fonts when encountering problematic ones.
• SF47595 – Corrects a problem where converting a document to PDF/A Part 2 or later could result in Optional Content being misconfigured.
• SF47597 – Corrects a problem during Color Conversion where the inherited GraphicState would be changed unexpectedly in some cases.
• SF47603 – Corrects an issue with the Color Conversion option mPromoteGrayToCMYK when enabled, which would result in unexpected Gray values.
• SF47610 – Corrects a problem where Color Converting a Page could unexpectedly affect a shared Form on another page.
• SF47641 – Corrects an issue where fonts using WinAnsiEncoding could be unnecessarily recreated during PDF/A conversion in some cases.
