This version introduces the following features:
• SF#47011 – The method PDDocOptimizeSetTDMReservationPolicy() has been added to the C/C++ interface.
• SF#47040 - The properties StuctureParentTree and StructureIDTree have been added to the Document class of the .NET and Java interfaces.
This version contains the following changes:
• Update expat library to version 2.7.1.
• Update openssl library to version 3.5.1.
• Update libpng library to version 1.6.50.
• With this release, the Maven package version has been increased to 18.52.0.
• With this release, the NuGet package version has been increased to 18.52.0.
This version resolves the following bugs:
• SF#46925 – This corrects an issue where the PreserveBlack option didn’t have an effect for Color Conversion a grayscale target colorspace.
• SF#46937 – This corrects a memory leak in the Attachments property of the Document class of the .NET and Java interfaces.
• SF#46974 – This corrects an issue with PDFOptimizer where default compression for some images may have been overly aggressive.
• SF#46980 – This corrects an issue where a document that had a form on multiple pages was having redactions applied to it which made it look like holes were being punched through the form to show the background of the page.
• SF#46981 – This corrects a problem where applying redactions to a Document could result in misplaced instances when an image was reused on the page.
• SF#46982 – This corrects an issue with metadata when converting a document to PDF/A, with regard to compliance in some cases. This also corrects an issue with Form Fields when converting a document to PDF/A, with regard to compliance in some cases.
• SF#46985 – The performance of PDFOptimizer has been improved for images in many cases.
• SF#46991 – This corrects an issue where Optimizing an image using a SMask could result in an error in some cases.
• SF#46994 – This corrects a problem subsetting some types of TrueType fonts where a glyph could disappear. This also corrects a problem where Base14 font removal could result in an inconsistent result.
• SF#47004 – This corrects a problem where Optimizing a document with Type 3 fonts could mishandle ancillary fonts.
• SF#47012 – This corrects a XFA forms flattening issue when dealing with RichText elements that span multiple pages and have various expressions of whitespace.
• SF#47033 – This corrects a problem with the DiscardComments and DiscardAnnotations Optimizer option of the .NET and Java interfaces.
• SF#47041 – This corrects a problem where PDF/X conversion could silently fail and page content would be empty, now conversion errors out properly.
