Datalogics APDFL v18.0.5PlusP1kh - Now available for download!
This version introduces the following features:
• SF#46857 – Method PDEImageJPXGetSMask() has been added to the C/C++ interface.
• Updates & Improvements to PDF To Office conversion.
• Forms Extension - Updated version of sqlite3 from 3.44.0 to 3.48.0.
• Updated to new version of libexpat 2.7.0 to fix vulnerability CVE-2024-8176.
• With this release, the NuGet Resources package version has been increased to 1.0.2.
• With this release, the NuGet package version has been increased to 18.47.0.
• With this release, the Maven package version has been increased to 18.47.0.
This version resolves the following bugs:
• SF#46696 – The Flattener option permitType3Fonts has been improved for Type 3 Fonts with glyph images that use Transparency.
• SF#46772 – This corrects a performance issue saving a document with a complicated Structure Tree.
• SF#46799 – Importing of XFDF annotations has been fixed for Annotations that are in-reply-to another Annotation using Forms Extension.
• SF#46802 – Corrects a problem where conversion of some documents to PDF/A could result in duplicated /AF entries.
• SF#46807 – Corrects an issue Flattening a XFA document with a shared Text Field across pages when RichText was in use and the text was very long.
• SF#46808 – This corrects an issue where updating PDE Content of a Page could cause an element to become partially hidden.
• SF#46813 – Corrects an issue with PDDocInsertPages() where it could keep the pages of a v2.0 document locked after using it.
• SF#46816 – Corrects an error that could be raised when a numerical value with over 20 decimal places was encountered at the Cos-level.
• SF#46817 – The page rendering flag kPDPageSwapComponents used in conjunction with the DeviceCMYK colorspace will render as KYMC.
The page rendering flag kPDPageInvertedGrayscale has been added to support Inverted Grayscale rendering.
• SF#46823 – Corrects an intermittent issue where PDEContentAddPage() could lead to a corrupted Font program when fonts were merged and an internal error occurred.
• SF#46838 – Corrects a problem where a 3D StreamDictionary could have its /Subtype key changed unexpectedly during PDF/A-4e conversion.
• SF#46839 - libDL180pdfl.so for Linux now has its program header marked to indicate the stack is non-executable, to comply with changes to the C GNU Library that prevent loading.
• SF#46840 – Updates documentation for Object Compression types in PDFOptimizer.
• SF#46841 – Corrects rendering of documents where the MiterLimit could be misinterpreted in some cases.
• SF#46845 – Corrects a problem where certain 1-bit images could be corrupted after Color Conversion.
• SF#46851 – Improves PDDocEmbedFonts() to support Fonts used by Widget Fields lacking Appearance Streams but having Default Appearances.
• SF#46852 – Corrects a performance issue that could occur during PDF/A conversion for Annotations with associated Popup annotations.
• SF#46860 – Improves rendering of a Page with an invalid /Annots entry to be more tolerant and not raise an error.
Important announcement regarding MacOS support:
Datalogics is changing our current support for MacOS.
The next APDFL release for May 2025, will no longer support MacOS 10.13 and 10.14.
The above mentioned MacOS are still supported in the latest APDFL v18.0.5PlusP1k release, but will no longer be supported in next month’s release.

- Connect: sftp://ftp.datalogics.com using an FTP client (port 22) or CLICK HERE to log in using your browser
